Adams River Nature Hike

In the week after the spring equinox I did a nature hike up the Adams River from the Wade Road trailhead in Tsutswecw Park.    The single track trail route wound through the burned forest to the Gorge.    I hiked over the bluffs, then returned on a double track through the black forest to the start, a 5 km hike.    Only sagebrush buttercups and western spring beauties were blooming, but other plants were leafing out.   Shared here are Oregon boxwood, ocean spray (shrub), glacier lily, silverleaf Phacelia, sulphur cinquefoil, and the black forest in a Google Photos album (with captions) – Adams River Nature Hike (link)
