Rossmoore and Stake Wildflowers

I paddled and hiked at Stake Lake and on the next day Rossmoore Lake, both in the Lac le Jeune area.    Along the trails and launch areas I observed a some wildflowers and photographed a few.

Shared here are:

  • stonecrop (Sedum lanceolatum)
  • fireweed (Chamaenerion angustifolium)
  • lupine (Lupinus sp.)
  • red paintbrush (Castilleja miniata)
  • wild rose with a crab spider (Rosa acicularis)
  • tiger lily (lilium montanum)
  • bunchberry (Cornus canadensis)
  • black twinflower (Lonerica involucrata)
  • rosy pussytoes (Antennaria rosea)
  • wild strawberries (Fragaria virginiana)
  • heart-leaved arnica (Arnica cordifolia)
  • parsnip-flowered buckwheat (Eriogonum heracleoides)
  • coltsfoot (Petistates frigidus)
  • bog orchid (Platanthera dilatata)
  • wintergreen (Pyrolia asarifolia)
  • twinflower (Linnaea borealis)
  • birch-leaved spirea (Spirea betulifolia)
  • wire lettuce (Latuca virosa)
