Adams River Nature Hike
In the week after the spring equinox I did a nature hike up the Adams River from the Wade Road trailhead in Tsutswecw Park. The single track trail route wound through the burned forest to the Gorge. I hiked over the bluffs, then returned on a double track through the black forest to the start, a 5 km hike. Only sagebrush buttercups and western spring beauties were blooming, but other plants were leafing out.
