We hiked the Buse Hill Trail from the Robbins Range Road in June. On the way up into Buse Lake Protected Area, along the cliffs, and on the way back down we enjoyed observing nature, taking a few photos along the way. Shared here are a few of the wilflowers we spotted – shrubby penstemon (Penstemon fruticosus), hillside arnica (Arnica), desert yellow fleabane (Erigeron linearis), meadow death-camas (Zigadenus venenosus), silky lupine (Lupinus sericeus), sticky geranium (Geranium viscosissimum), tall western groundsel (Senecio integerrimus), wild rose (Rosa acicularis), Thompson’s paintbrush (Castilleja thompsonii), and Okanogan fameflower (Talinum sediforme sp.). Can you match the name to the photo?
