Early June in the Flower Gardens
In our home gardens, June is a wonderful time for flowering plants in borders, rockeries, perennial beds, and even in the vegetable garden. Each day we walk the paths to enjoy the displays, taking a few photos each day. There are different stars each month. A few images from early June are shared here:
- Persian cornflower (Psephellus dealbatus)
- Persian daisy (Tanacetum coccineum)
- Oriental poppy (Papaver orientale)
- Alpine aster (Aster alpinus)
- blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium sp.)
- orange honeysuckle (Lonerica sp.)
- mock orange (Philadelphus sp.)
- columbine (Aquilegia canadensis)
- rosy pussytoes (Antennaria rosea)
- yellow foxglove (Digitalis grandiflora)
- gazania (Gazania linearis)
- clematis (Clematis jackmanii)
- sweet William (Dianthus barbatus)
- peas (Lathyrus oleraceus)
- Siberian iris (Iris sibirica)
- lupines (Lupinus sp.)
- Himalayan fleeceflower (Bistorta affinis)
