Depart Kamloops at 8:00 from Kenna Cartwright Parking and meet at Ashcroft Legacy Park for carpooling at 9:15. Tour Barnes Lake and other area grasslands and a late stop at Desert Gardens for those who wish. Return to Kamloops by 5:00 pm

Tour lower and middle grasslands in the Ashcroft area looking at native and seeded grasslands, wildfire recovery, invasive plants and grazing use. Led by Mike Dedels, Executive Director of the GCC with other botanists and naturalists and hopefully joined by local experts/ranchers
