We hiked a number of trails in the Washington State Desert lands in May and encountered a number of wildflowers along the way, some of which are featured below. A number can also be found in our area, but a few were new to us. We hiked through the dry hills enjoying the views and watching for pieces of petrified ginkgo trees (we spotted quite a few).
