On the McQueen Lake to Isobel Lake Trail
On a day in the latter half of July I hiked on a less-known route from McQueen Lake to Isobel Lake, around the lake trail, and back, stopping to enjoy nature along the way. I took a number of photos, some of which are shared here in a gallery – milkweed (Asclepias speciosa), nodding onion (Allium cernuum), harebells (Campanula rotundifolia), bird’s-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), and St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum).
