On Embleton Mountain
We hiked up the forested slopes of Mt. Embleton then down the open ridges. Along the way were a few summer wildflowers. In the forest and through the cutblock were the usual plants like arnica, yarrow, lupine, daisies and asters, thistles, sedum, spirea, buttercups, etc. but we were also pleased to see nodding onions, harebells, self-heal, bracted lousewort, and coralroot.
