SUMMARY:Native Perennials for Interior BC Gardens
DESCRIPTION:“I’m very glad to be presenting “Native Perennials for Interior BC Gardens: From the Valleys to the Alpine” on Tuesday\, November 4\, 7PM\, Thompson Rivers University\, Horticultural Building. This is open to the public\, I am told. If you’re interested in growing at least some of the showy wildflowers\, this may be of interest.\n\n\nI’ll discuss my experience growing showy native plants from seed and using them in sunny and shady gardens\, at both valley bottom\, at Sun Peaks and in former gardens. All of the adventures exploring native flora\, the amazing successes\, the agonizing failures\, the lessons learned\, the native plants I’ve grown and even their place among non-natives in the waterwise garden!”\n\nJay Akerley
