By Scuitto Lake
On a drive out to Scuitto Lake to kayak the lake, I also stopped to enjoy some of the wildflowers. It is a reliable spot to see marsh skullcap in bloom, and there were many specimens on the margins of the lake. A few other wildflowers were also photographed and shared here.
In the gallery are marsh skullcap (Scutellaria galericulata), an oxeye daisy with a pollinator (Leucanthemum vulgare sp.), threadleaf fleabane (Erigeron filifolius) , silverweed (Potentilla anserina), two wild roses (Rosa sp. ), and pale agoseris (Agoseris glauca).
